Click to EnlargeA warm welcome awaits you at the Forge- a four star self-catering tourist accommodation, situated in the rolling farmland of West Tyrone. It is situated on it's own elevated site high above the valley, where the River Derg quietly meanders. In the distance at the foot of Crilly Hill nestles the small, sleepy village of Killeter.

EntranceThe parish of Aghyaran, steeped in a wealth of history, will give the historians among you plenty to explore, and many willing people to recall days gone by. There are many archeological sites to visit and a chance to see some of the crafts practised by the people of the area.

The perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy true peace and tranquillity, disturbed only by the peel of the Church bell closeby. So why not treat yourself to a taste of rural life in the unspoilt, and relatively unexplored countryside of West Tyrone.

Accommodation IrelandThe Forge: the family homestead of several generations of the McGlynn family, and who for as many generations worked the blacksmith's forge. The cottage has been rebuilt on the original site with stone walls, hearth fireplace and a half door to create an idyllic 4 star self-catering tourist accommodation.

This very spacious cottage has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with comfort and convenience always the ultimate priority. It is carefully positioned to appreciate panoramic views of the countryside, or you can sit on the porch and enjoy the peace of the rural landscape.

Situated close to both the Donegal and Fermanagh borders, you can take the time to explore the rugged Atlantic Coastline of Donegal, play a round of golf on one of the many beautiful courses nearby, or enjoy walking, cycling or trekking through the heather-clad hills. "Biddies of Barnes", located in the valley of Barnesmore Gap, will provide a welcome rest for weary travellers on their homeward journey. A trip to Fermanagh will provide you with scenic lakes and islands and the home of the world famous Belleek Pottery.
